The county has decided to begin this round of negotiations in a very different manner. A "Table I" and "Table II" position was mailed to AFSCME 411 and other union leadership last week. While we contemplate how we handle these "table positions", I have contacted Council 25. I have been contacted by membership who have heard various rumors regarding these "table positions". Rest assured, leadership is actively working on this issue. If a special meeting is scheduled, you will be contacted and made aware of it. It will be posted on this site also. In the meantime, we have a contract in place until December 31, 2010. Our Letters of Agreement RE: Longevity and Dock Days expire on that date. This was voted on and agreed to by you, the membership of AFSCME Local 411. Nothing will be done until you, the membership of AFSCME Local 411, vote on and agree to any changes to those agreements.
